Death Announcement -Mr.Arumainayagam 

( Sangeetha Poosanam, Retired St John’s College music teacher ).

Dear Johnian

 It is with profound sadness we inform the demise of our beloved teacher Mr.Arumainayagam ( Sangeetha Poosanam, Retired St John’s College music teacher ). He  passed away yesterday   (15^th May 2012 ) at Royal Hospital after a brief illness .

His mortal remains will lie at A F Raymonds Funeral Parlour Borella for public viewing from 08:30 AM onwards tomorrow ( 17^th May , 2012 ).Cremation will take place at 04:30 PM at Borella  Kanatte Cemetery Hindu section.

URGENT - AGM POSTPONEMENT - PLEASE INFORM OTHERS TOO

Dear Johnian

President advised me to inform you all that the AGM is postponed. 

This decision was made by him having consulted the vice presidents too.

 The main reason for postponement is the non-availability of both the president and the secretary and a few others, including two vice-presidents and also some senior members. Hence postponement is inevitable

The new date for AGM will be announced by next week; most probably it will be held in June.

Please note that the tickets purchased for the date printed as 19 May is valid for the new AGM date.

PLEASE INFORM THIS POSTPONEMENT TO ALL THOSE TO WHOM YOU HAVE SOLD THE TICKETS TO.

I am sorry for any inconveniences caused by this postponement.
