St. John’s College, Jaffna has always believed in ensuring that their students achieve academic excellence and has succeeded in producing very eminent citizens over the years.

Thirty years of conflict has had a major negative impact on the financial situation of most low and middle income families resulting in them unable to find the resources to provide a reasonably sound education to their children. Quite a number of young bright children are deprived of the opportunity to attend a good school.

In view of this the Old Boys Association – South Sri Lanka which has been closely associating with the school to give a hand wherever possible has decided to initiate a fund raising project by way of a Music & Dance programme and Souvenir.

We intend making this project meaningful by reflecting the cultural diversity of Sri Lanka.

The programme will be in the form of a festival of Music and Dance. The Dance recitals will be staged by the students of ‘Kalasuri’ Smt.Vasuki Jegatheeswaran and Fusion Music by Ravibandu Vidyapathi and his group. This will be held at New Kathiresan Hall on the 10^th of August at 6.00 pm.

We seek your generous contribution towards this worthy project.
