Teachers' Day 2012

The annual teachers' day, as usual, will be held at Holy
Trinity Church Parish Hall (Wellawatte) starting at 6 pm and closing up with a
fellowship dinner.
This is an ideal opportunity to meet some of your teachers
and honor them

Annual Trip
Dear Johnian,
As you all know, we have decided to carry on with our plan to go
for a day out on Sep. 29th to Marawila. The details as follows...
Location: Platinum Resort, Marawila (Form Aquaris Sports Resort,
a new management has taken over and they have renamed the place) Please check
the website of the place for more details www.platinumresorts.lk
The cost for an Adult: Rs. 1,500/-, Kids under 6 will be free of
charge and kids between 6 to 12 will be Rs. 750/-
The package covers...
* Welcome drink
* Lunch buffet
* Evening tea with cake
* Swimming pool (they do have a baby pool also)
* Access to the indoor stadium. They do have 4 badminton courts
and a table for table tennis. It is preferred for us to take our own rackets as
they offer only few rackets.
The transport cost is Rs. 15,000/- (inclusive of tips)
Considering (ONLY) the above we have decided to charge a
very nominal amount.
The cost for an Adult will be Rs. 2,000/-, kids between 6 to 12
will be Rs. 1,250/- and kids under 6 will not be charged.
Hope we can have better crowd this time! Last time we got 34
including CGC.
Please confirm your participation before Sep 10th as I do have
to make an advance payment to the resort.
