112th Annual General Meeting

Warm Greetings from St.John’s College, Jaffna OBA (South Sri Lanka).

         112th Annual General Meeting Fixed for 26.05.2018 (Saturday).

It is once again time for us to meet and greet fellow Johnions and to elect a new bunch of  Ex-Co Members for 2018/2019 to take forward the activities of the OBA-SSL.

The day’s programme commences at 5.00 pm with Thanks Giving Service at Holy Trinity Church, No 21, St Lawrence Road, Wellawatte, Colombo 06. On completion of the service the 112th Annual General Meeting will commence at the Global Towers Hotel, Marine Drive, Wellawatte, Colombo 06 at 7.00 pm.

The Dinner Tickets are priced at Rs.3,,250/= and are available with the under-mentioned members whose contact numbers are stated against their names. In order to encourage a large turnout for this event we have decided to extend the sale of tickets up-to 23.05.2018. Since limited number of tickets available, please ensure you purchase your ticket on or before 23.05. 2018 as no sale of tickets will be take place after 23.05. 2018.Tickets for Campus Students are priced at Rs. 2,500/=

St.John's - OBA South Sri Lanka & Chundikuli - PPA Colombo Christmas Carols and Dinner 2017

Dear Johnian,

The joint annual Christmas Carols and Dinner of St. Johns College, Jaffna (OBA SSL) and Chundikuli Girls’ College PPA, is scheduled to be held on Sunday 10^th December 2017, at St. Paul’s Church, Milagiriya from 7.00pm on wards. 

The Carol Service will commence at 7.00pm.

We have planned to elevate the event by going a step further with mouthwatering cuisine and raffle draw which comprises invaluable gifts. 

The ticket prices are as follows;

A Special Note to Parents

Dear Parents

We were informed by Santa that he would arrive in Srlanka only on the 13th evening and come direct to the event only with his hand luggage. He will not have time to buy gifts for the kids as such he wants all the parents to bring gifts for their kids to be distributed by him , while doing so he wants the gifts to be nicely packed and LABELED with the names of their kids .

We have arranged a designated person ( a special desk is arranged for this purpose) to collect the gifts on behalf of Santa , please hand over your gifts at this desk .
